Bessie Lee Webb 92, was called to our Lord on November 29, 2019. Bessie was at Reynolds Hospice House. Bessie was born October 23, 1927 to Charlie Cox and Annie Williams Cox in Benton County, MS. Bessie was a member of Bluff Springs Baptist Church and a homemaker. Bessie was a true Southern Lady with a gentle Christian spirit. she was loved by her family and friends. Bessie loved gospel music and was enjoying her favorite songs when the Lord called her home.

Services will be held December 4, 2019 at 12:00 pm, at Bluff Springs Baptist Church, Ashland, MS. There will be a visitation at the church beginning at 10:00 am until service. Burial will be at Bluff Springs Cemetery.

Bessie is survived by her son, Steve Curtis Webb (Janice) of Atoka, TN. Two daughters, Brenda Dickey (James) of North Little Rock, AR and Barbara Lawson of Byhalia, MS. Her sister, Lorena Cox. Five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

Bessie was preceded in death by her husband James Curtis Webb, son, James Larry Webb, two grandchildren, Jonathan Dennis Webb and Cynthia Ann Beckingham, two brothers, Joseph Lemard Cox and Chester Leon Cox and parent Charlie and Annie Cox.
