Brennen Thomas Boone of Madison, Mississippi died Friday morning in Collieville, Tennessee. He was nineteen years old and a freshman at the Univesity of Mississippi.
Born on October 27, 1998 to Dawn and Marc Boone of Madison, Mississippi, Brennen was a graduate of Madison Central High School and studing computer engineering at the University of Mississippi. He worked on campus as a student worker in information technology and was a member of Broadmoor Baptist Church in Madison.
Brennen enjoyed Ole Miss football, music, snow sking, debating politics and spending time with his friends.
Brennen leaves his parents, Dawn and Marc; his sister Olivia; and his beloved dog Max, all of Madison, and his maternal grandparents Carolyn Rochelle of Carthage, Mississippi, and Bobby Edwards of Forest, Mississippi. His late paternal grandparents Bertie Jewel and Tom Boone of Holly Springs, are buried at Hillcrest Cemetery. In addition, he leaves aunts Susan Jordan of Holly Springs, Mississippi, Kathy Woods of Holly Springs, Mississippi, Ellen Ferrell (Keith) of Hernando, Mississippi, Michelle Thompson (Curt) of Oxford, Mississippi, Marybeth Zimmerle of Houston, Texas and uncle John Tharp (Missy) of Ridgeland, Mississippi. Brennen will also be missed by many cousins that he adored.
A burial service will be held at Hillcrest Cemetery in Holly Springs, Mississippi, at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, March 18. Holly Springs Funeral Home has charge.
Visitation will follow at Broadmoor Baptist Church in Madison, Mississippi at 2:00 pm, followed by a memorial service at the church at 4:00 pm.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be sent in Brennen's name to Canopy Children's Solutions at 1465 Lakeland Drive, Jackson, Missippi, 39216, or Broadmoor Baptist Church Center for Hope and Healing. |
