Charles Wade Tiner, 63, of Collierville, Tennessee, passed away on May 17, 2021, at Baptist Hospital in Collierville. He was born in Memphis, Tennessee, on May 12, 1958. to Charles Winfred Tiner and Marian Cecelia McMinn Tiner. Wade was a firefighter, having joined the Red Banks, Mississippi Volunteer Fire Department at age 16, where he eventually became Chief. He also served the Holly Springs Fire Department as Assistant Chief, before moving to the Shelby County, Tennessee Fire Department.
Wade is survived by his mother Cecelia Tiner of Red Banks, two sons, Daniel Tiner (Kandace) and Blake Tiner, all of Chapel Hill, Tennessee, and a daughter, Rachel Burlison (Barry), of Franklin, Tennessee. He also leaves three grandchildren, Preston Baker, Lauren Baker, and Chesley Burlison, and the mother of his children, Ellen Briscoe Taylor.
Services for Wade will be held at Red Banks Baptist Church on May 20, 2021, at 11:00 am, with a visitation beginning at 10:00 am, at the church. Burial will be in Red Banks Cemetery. Holly Springs Funeral Home has charge. |
