On August 15, 2017 we lost an amazing Lady, Mother, and Friend to all. Doris Ann Lee. She was a long time resident of Byhalia, MS.
Doris was born on Maarch 18, 1935 to James and Marcella Mays in Huntinigton, WV. She sttended school at Brandon High School and the University of Tampa.
She was retired from the Byhalia Chamber of Commerce after 20 plus years, was a strong supporter of the Republican Party and was a Delegate for Mississippi this past year. She was also a member of The Ladies of the Easter Star.
Doris is survived by her daughters, Deborah Newell, Sandra Wincher, Susan Parker and Melinda Brannon; twelve grandchildren including Tina Thompson (Bill), Darrell Newell, and Melissa Lloyd (John); and twenty-two great grandchildren including Dylan Newell, Krissy Newell, and Christopher Lloyd.
A celebration of life will be held Friday, August 18, 2017 at 6:00 pm at The Patio at McCrary's. the Holly Springs Funeral Home has assisted in the arrangements.
