Ella Jean Loftin
Ella Jean Loftin 90, passed away January 30, 2020 at Baptist East Hospital, Memphis, TN. Ella was born May 23, 1929 to Earl Brewer Whaley and Tennie Frank Boyd Whaley in Mt. Pleasent, MS. Ella was a member of Mt, Pleasent Methodist Church and worked in Accounting. Services will be held February 1, 2020 at 11:00 am at Mt. Pleasent Methodist Church. There will be a visitation beginning at 10:00 am until service. Burial will be at Mt. Pleasent Cemetery. Ella is survived by her son, Joseph Loftin (Tricia) of Holly Springs, MS. Her daughter Susan Snipes (Jimmy). Her brother, James Whaley (Glenda) of Collierville, TN. Nine grandchildren and one great grandchild. Ella was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Ralph Loftin Sr. Her children, Robert Ralph Loftin JR., Richard Brewer Loftin, Terry Lewis Loftin and Carolyn Rebecca Loftin.

Even though we moved away, I still miss that sweet lady and neighbor! Never a complaint, never a discouraging thought, never an ill word about anyone. She was the epitome of a southern lady, and I will always treasure the times we spent together. Don and I will both miss her. And our deepest sympathy to all the family.
