Evelyn Louise Childers 81, passed away Satuarday March 4, 2017 at New Albany Health and Rehab. Evelyn was born April 28, 1935 in Hickory Flat MS. to William Lee Beasly and Odie Beatrice Box. Evelyn was a member of Hickory Flat Faith Baptist Church and a homemaker.
Services will be Monday March 6, 2017 at 11:00 am at the Hickory Flat Faith Baptist Church,
with a visitation at the church, Sunday March 5, 2017 from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Burial will be at the McKay Cemetary Hickory Flat.
Evelyn is survived by 2 sons, John Vanzant (Jewel) Hickory Flat MS. Tim Vanzant (Donna) Holly Springs MS. 2 stepsons, Alan Childers (Peggy) Southaven MS. Larry Childers Eudora MS. 2 daughters, Diane Lollar (Cecil) Hickory Flat MS. Reba Wilkinson (Warren) Hickory Flat MS. 2 brothers, Junior Beasley Memphis TN. Ray Beasley Hickory Flat MS. 13 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband Harold Childers, a daughter Gail Howard and a great grandson Cody Lollar.
