Frances Carpenter 87, passed away December 16, 2019 at Magnolia Regional Hospital, Corinth,MS. Frances was born April 10, 1932 to Melvin Potter and Lillie Free Potter in Potts Camp, MS. Frances was Pentecostal and a homemaker. Frances enjoyed gardening, hunting and fishing.
Services will be held December 20, 2019 at 2:00 pm at the funeral home. There will be a visitation Thursday evening from 5:00 - 8:00 pm. Burial will be at Valley Grove Cemetery, Michigan City, MS.
Frances is survived by two sons, Marvin Carpenter Jr. of Michigan City, MS and Larry Carpenter of Ashland, MS. Two sisters, Ruby Churchill, MS and Jean Thompson both of Potts Camp, MS. Four grandchildren, Melissa McCallum (Michael), Brent Carpenter (Lauren), Leslye Greer (Anthony) and Samantha Williams (Jacob). Seven great grandchildren.
Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Carpenter and grandson, Phillip Carpenter.
