George Rather Jr. 71 passes away November 30, 2018 in Fairfield Bay, AR. George was born June 14, 1947 to George Rather Sr. and Virginia Lee Rather in Memphis, TN. George was a Catholic and a Bond Trader.

Services will be held graveside, Thursday, December 6, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Hill Crest Cemetery, Holly Springs, MS.

George is survived by his wife, Jean Rather of Fairfield Bay, AR. His son, Phillip Rather (Brandi) of Austin, TX. Two grandchildren, Charli Rather and Poppy Rather. 

George was preceded in death by his son, Stephen Rather.
