James B. Smith 87 passed away October 1, 2018 at his home in Byhalia, MS. James was born March 14, 1931 to Earnest P. Smith and Hexie Hallum Smith in Birmingham, AL. James was a U.S. Postal clerk and Navy Veteran.
Service will be held October 9, 2018 at 12:00 noon at the funeral home. There will be a visitation begining at 10:00 am until service. Burial will be at Memphis Memory Gardens, Memphis, TN.
James is survived by four sons, Stephen Smith (Melinda) of Olive Branch, MS, Kenneth Smith, Earnest Smith (Benita) and Arnold Graber all of Byhalia, MS. Two daughters Tamara Smith and Kandace Smith both of Byhalia, MS. Several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
James was preceded in death by his wife Billie M. Smith. |
