Joe Lee Rhea 78, passed away March 13, 2020 at his home in Walnut, MS. Joe was born July 2, 1941 to Joe Plaz Rhea and Gussie Feathers Rhea. Joe was a member of Unity Baptist Church, Ripley, MS and a carpenter.
Services will be held March 17, 2020 at 11:00 am at the funeral home. There will be a visitation Monday evening, March 16, 2020 from 5:00 - 8:00 pm. Burial will be at Unity Baptist Cemetery, Ripley, MS.
Joe is survived by his wife, Noveline Rhea of Walnut, MS. Three sons, Joseph Rhea (Teresa) of New Albany, MS., John Daniel Cox (Connie) and Samuel W. Cox both of Walnut, MS. Two daughters, Connie Jo Williams (Bruce) of Dumas, MS and Lora Rhea (Terry) of Holly Springs, MS. Two brothers, Ronnie Rhea of Boaz, AL. and Nathan Huthings of Coco Beach, FL. Seventeen grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.
