Leslie Coleman Anderson, 74, of Potts Camp, MS born July 5, 1942. Leslie passed away from this world to join the Lord in heaven January 5, 2017. He was born and lived his life on the Anderson home front on Bethany Road- the place he held closest to his heart.
He worked for CMS Management alongside his wife, Mary Jo, as manager of the Durant/Southwind Apartments in Durant, MS for the last many years. Leslie was the beloved and admired son of the late James Osie Anderson and Diamond Rogenia Howard-Anderson. He is survived by his wife, Mary Jo Anderson of 31 years; children Phillip Anderson (Julie), Beth Anderson, Jennifer Allen (John), David Murray (Jami), Doug Stanton (Crystal); 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; sisters, Mary Nell Cunningham, Margaret Greer (Bobby), Linda Anderson; brother, James Anderson (Maranda); many special nieces and nephews. Leslie was an intelligent, wonderful and loving man who prided himself in doing things to perfection in his work and life. A large hole has been left in the hearts of all the above persons. Leslie, we will miss you and will always remember you with the respect, admiration and love.
A private family gathering to celebrate Leslie’s life will be held Monday January 9, 2017 at the Holly Springs Funeral Home in Holly Springs, MS.
