Margaret Louise “Margie” Crum Ormon, 93, of Hickory Flat, MS, passed away peacefully Saturday, May 20, 2017 at her home.

She was born November 10, 1923, in Benton County, MS, to William and Josie Welch Crum.  She graduated from Hickory Flat Attendance Center and married her high school sweetheart, S. E. Ormon, in 1941. Margie was an active member of Pine Grove Baptist Church.  She was a homemaker and a Head Start teacher while remaining very active in the family farm operation. After raising eight children, she graduated with honors from Blue Mountain College with a B.S.
