Mary Ann Whitehead, 78, died October 21, 2017 at Baptist Desoto Hospital. She was born April 15, 1939 in Marshall County, MS to Emmitt Frances Houston and Josephine Hunsucker Houston. She was a homemaker and member of Freewill Baptist Church.
Her service will be 12:00 p.m. on October 23, 2017 at the Holly Springs Funeral Home. Burial will be at Carey Chapel Cemetery. Bro. Kyle Flowers will be officiating.
She leaves her significant other, Joe Brandenburg; sons, George Emmittt Whitehead of Henning, TN, Tommy Wayne Whitehead of Ashland, MS; daughters, Judy Ann Parker of Denton, TX, Linda Faye Rhyne of Henning, TN, Nailon Grace Knighten of Marked Tree, AR; thirteen grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
She was preceeded in death by her husband, Claude Leonard Whitehead; her parents; a grandchild, Bridgette Parker; a great grandchild, Jose Hernandez; three brothers and four sisters.
Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. |
