Sadie Maydeen Evans 77, passed away February 13, 2019 at the Med in Memphis, TN. Sadie was born Juhe 19, 1941 to Lonnie Lee Murry Barnes and Mary Elsie Smith Barnes in Rilpley, MS. Sadie was a member of the Bethlehem Church of the Lord Jesus Christ and worked as a seamstress. Sadie loved yard sales, putting puzzles toghether and she loved her dog Bear.
Services will be held February 19, 2019 at 1100 am at The Bethlehem Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. There will be a visitation at the church Monday evening, February 18, 2019 from 5:00 - 9:00 pm. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Sadie is survived by her son, Benny Cook (Rita) of Potts Camp, MS. Three daughters, Brenda Dianne Wait of Hickory Flat, MS, Linda Childres (Tommy) of Potts Camp, MS and Mary Ann Holden (Bill Cabler) of Hickort Flat, MS. Two brothers, Dayton "Bill" Barnes of Oxford, MS and Allen McLellen of Blue Springs, MS. Thirteen grandchildren and twenty seven great grandchildren. |
