Veda Mae Cook 75, passed away February 24, 2018 at her home in New Albany, MS. Veda was born September 20 1942 to Chalmas Mead and Cassie Beasley Meead in Glennwood, GA. Veda was a Baptist and a homemaker.
Service will be Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at 2:00 pm at the funeral home. There will be a visitation Tuesday evening from 5:00 - 8:00 pm. Burial will be at Hillcrest Cemetery, Holly Springs, MS.
Veda is survived by her husband Van Doyle Cook New Albany, MS. Her son Gerald Cook Oxford, MS, daughter Susan Moooeyhan New Albany, MS, brother Charlie Wade Mead Pembrook Pines, FL, two sisters, Mildred Warner Warner Robbins, GA and Brenda Layfield Dudley, GA. Grandchilren, Larry Scott Turman and Thomas Carey Hamblin. Four great grandchildren.
