Victor Lamar Baker Jr. 55, passed away Saturday June 3, 2017 at Merit Health in Batesville, MS. Victor was born March 15,1962 to Victor Lamar Baker Sr. and Gloria Sayers Baker in Oxford, MS. Victor was a Methodist and worked as a carpenter. Victor was an Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America . He was a graduate of Mt. Pleasant Christian Academy. Victor was also a talented carpenter and artist. Visitation services will be June 6, 2017 from 5:00 until 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be a private family service at a later date. Burial will be at Midway Cemetery in Abbeville, MS. Victor is survived by his mother Gloria Baker, Batesville, formerly Holly Springs, MS a brother Duncan Baker Holly Springs, MS. two sisters Joyce Phillips Holly Springs, MS and Lane Westfaul Sardis, MS. Victor was preceded in death by his father Victor Baker Sr.
