Wesley Hardy Ray, 86, passed away April 1, 2018 at Christopher"s Assisted Living in Holly Springs, MS. He was a Veteran who served in the Marine Corps as Staff Sgt. E6 and a retired Vice President with the Troxel Manufacturing Company and co-owner and Vice President of Marshall Lumber Co, Inc. He was a member of the American Legion and a 32 Scottish Rite of Freemasonry.
He is survied by sons, Tommy Ray (Alice) of Holly Springs, MS and Johnny Ray (Leah) of Southaven, MS; daughters, Judy Buchanan (Mack) of New Albany, MS and Karen Kimbriel (Craig) of Nesbit, MS; brother Roy G. Ray (Elaenor) of Slayden, MS; sister Irene Wisley of Bartlett, TN; 10 grandchilldren and 12 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Althea Larson Ray.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at the funeral home from 10:00 am util the 11:00 am service time in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Slayden Cemetery. |
