Willie Anderson 84, passed away Monday, June 19, 2017 at Baptist Desoto in Southaven, MS. Willie was born October 24, 1932 to Douglas Lafayette Anderson and Lelia McDugle Anderson in Mt. Pleasent, MS. Willie was a Methodist and worked as a farmer. Willie is Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. Services will be Thursday, June 22, 2017 a 1:00 pm at the Carey Chapel Baptist Church with a visitation Thusday morning at 11:00 am until service time. Burial will be at Carey Chapel Cemetery in Mt. Pleasent, MS. Willie is suvived by his wife of 60 years, Geneva Smith Anderson, Holly Springs, MS. Two sons, Ronald Anderson (Gidget) Red Banks, MS and Mark Anderson (Lisa) Red Banks, MS. Brother, Lafayette Anderson, Mt. Pleasent, MS. Sister, Dorothy Langston, Mt. Pleasent, MS. and eight grandchildren.

I would like to share something that I have personally found to be comforting. It is found in the Bible at John 5:28, 29 and Revelation 21:4. These verses tell us that soon God is going to bring about a resurrection of our dear loved ones as well as do away with all causes we have for suffering, including sickness and death. Knowing this has always comforted me and it is my hope that these thoughts will comfort your family also.
