    • I was so saddened and shocked to hear of Jean's passing. I know that you all will miss her terribly. Her family was the most important thing in her life. She was so proud of Laura, Eric, Genna, CarolAnn, Daniel and those beautiful grandchildren. I am so happy that she was able to enjoy her last years close to all of you in Ashland. We experienced many years as work family. We laughed, we cried, we fought, we made up and always felt like family. On my very first day at Oak Hall Jean told me "We are a family here at Oak Hall. Like families we fuss and fight but we love each other too." She was totally dedicated to her work and made many sacrifices to give it her all. She loved her work with St. Jude hospital. It is so fitting that memorials be sent there to honor your mother and grandmother. You will be in my thoughts and prayers as you mourn the loss of a truly one of a kind lady.

    • Thank you Ms. Marilyn! Thanks to everyone for your thoughts and prayers. I just got off the phone with Bob Levee at Oak Hall and he shared some personal memories with me and that meant so very much to me! Bamaw was a stern woman but she had the biggest heart I've ever known. God Bless you all. Love, Carolann
