Morris A. Courson, 75, died Thursday, July 19, 2012, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He was born Feb. 26, 1937, in Benton County to Jack Wade Courson Sr. and Etoil Dickerson Courson. He was a foreman with Prairie Construction and a veteran. He was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church.
Services will be at 10 a.m. July 21, 2012 at Pine Grove Baptist Church with Bro. Michael Baker and Bro. Randy Hamilton officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery in Hickory Flat. Holly Springs Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Rosalie Bennett Courson of Hickory Flat; two sons, Tony Courson (June) of Hickory Flat and Patrick Courson (Michelle) of Holly Springs; one brother, Wade Courson Jr. of Hickory Flat; one sister, Imogene McMillen; grandchildren, Dillon Courson, Payton Courson, Kayla Courson, Christopher Courson and Shawna Jordan; great-grandchildren, Jacob Hopkins and Ryan Hopkins; special little people, Emmanuel and Gabryel Adams; 10 nieces; and eight nephews.
