Carol Mae Burchette Bryant

Carol Mae Burchette Bryant left this earth for her eternal home on February 20, 2024.  Carol passed away in her sleep while at her part time residence in Arizona.

Carol was born on April 3, 1950, to Aubrey Thomas Burchette and Ruth Thomas Burchette.  Carol was a graduate of Holly Springs High School and later attended architectural school.  After the death of her husband, she sold her home in Ashland and moved to Baldwyn, Mississippi.  Carol worked as a caregiver until her retirement.

Carol loved to sew, quilt, make unique Christmas ornaments, draw, and raise flowers.  She professed Christ as a teenager and attended the Church of Christ.

Carol is survived by her sisters, Wilma Bolden of Holly Springs, Ruth Ann Runia of Waterford, Audrey Swann (Steve) of Ransom, Kansas, and a brother, Henry Burchette of Winfield, Alabama.  She also leaves two stepsons, Kenneth and Tony Bryant of Ashland, four grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Waymond Bryant, her parents, her sister, Mary Evelyn Owen, and a stepson, James Harold Bryant.

Funeral services for Carol will be held in the Chapel of the Holly Springs Funeral Home on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at 11:00 am.  A visitation for family and friends will begin at 10:00 am, and continue until service time.  Burial will be in Hill Crest Cemetery.
