Ms Leathie Evelyn Houston, 87, of Hernando MS passed away March 25, 2025 at Great Oaks
Rehabilitation Home in Byhalia, MS. Ms Houston was born to James Clark Eddings and Rosa
Mae Thompson Eddings and the widow of James Edward Houston. Ms. Houston was
a Real Estate Broker and Southern Baptist.
Ms. Houston is survived by her son, James Houston (Lisa) of Hernando, daughter, Teresa
Ivy of Nixa Missouri, brother, Tommy Eddings of Springdale, Arkansas. She also leaves
grandchildren, Brandon Ivy, Lindsey Lantz, Erin Houston-Myatt, Jamie Houston and
great grandchildren, Noah Smith and Addilynn Lantz.
Services will be held Monday, March 31, 2025 at The Holly Springs Funeral Home Chapel.
Visitation will be at 10:00 and service following at 11:00. She will be buried at Bluff Springs
Cemetery in Ashland. No graveside service. |
