Delbert Britt, 69, of Ashland, Mississippi, passed away on July 29, 2026 at his home surrounded by family. 

 

Delbert was born in Ripley, Mississippi on November 15, 1956 to the late Mr. R.V. Britt Sr. and the late Mrs. Ruby Hartford Britt. Delbert was a Christian by faith and worked as a roofer

for many years.

 

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Debra Britt, a daughter, Elise Britt Kelsey (Eddie) of Ashland, a brother, Dalton Douglas Britt (Nancy) of Ripley, MS, four sisters; Cathy Barton(Wayne)(D), of Warsaw, Becky Foster(Barry) of Clarksdale, Ricky Sue Napier(Rick)(D) of Memphis and Donna Britt of Olive Branch. He also leaves four grandchildren: Austin, Benjamin and Christian Britt, Hailey Kelsey and three great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Doyle R.V. Britt Jr.

 

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
