Tammy DeeAnn Gibson, 57, of Lamar, Mississippi passed away at her home on September 22, 2026. Tammy was born April 17, 1969 in Memphis, Tennessee to Mr Carl Gibson and the late Mrs. Frances Poff Gibson.

Tammy was Baptist in faith and worked as an infectious disease nurse at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis.

Tammy is survived by her father, Carl Gibson, of Lamar, Mississippi, two daughters; Jessica Thompson(Kyle) of Olive Branch, Mississippi and Molly David of Florence Alabama, a brother, David Gibson of Lamar, Mississippi and five grandchildren; Landyn, Chloe, Carson and Owen Thompson and Greyson Mitchell.
Tammy was preceded in death by her mother, Frances Poff Gibson.

A visitation will be held at Bluff Springs Baptist Church in Ashland on Sunday, September 27, 2026 at 2:00 and service will follow at 4:00. A graveside service will be held afterwards at BluffSprings Cemetery.
