Louise Skelton, 97, of Holly Springs, Mississippi passed away on October 28, 2026 at Diversicare Nursing Facility in Ripley, Mississippi. Louise was born to the late Mr. Willie Aubrey Skelton and Mrs. Gertha Fuller Skelton on June 2, 1929 in Marshall county. She was a Member of Clear Creek Baptist Church and worked in a factory many years.

Mrs. Skelton is survived by a son, Stanley Skelton of Potts Camp, 2 Daughters: Wanda Leopard (Jack) of Oxford and Gale Rogers of Falkner, 10 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and 16 great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Mary Francis Clark of New Albany. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jack Rufus Skelton, a son, Tom Skelton, 2 Daughters: Joann Skelton and Becky Hood, a brother, Pete Skelton, and 2 sisters: Ivey Watkins and Emma Jean Allen. She will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 29th, 2026 from 5 until 8 PM. The funeral service will be held on Friday, October 30th, 2026 at 3:00 PM. Services will be held at the Holly Springs Funeral Home and burial will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery where a graveside service will be held.
