Joy Janell Raines, 82, of Holly Springs passed away on September 22, 2026 at Baptist East in Memphis, TN. She was born to the late Mr. Silas Reed and Mrs. Lizzie McElyea Reed on December 2, 1943 in Boydsville, Arkansas. She was Christian in faith and was the owner/operator of Raines Grocery for many years.

Mrs. Raines is survived by her loving husband, William Richard Raines, a son, Greg Raines (Brandy) of Holly Springs, a granddaughter, Myrtle Brents (Will), as well as a sister, Donna Kay Hargraves of Forsyth, Missouri. She will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.

A graveside service will take place on Friday, September 25th, 2026 10:00 at the Hillcrest Cemetery in Holly Springs.
