Raymond Junior Gadd, 89, of Barton, Mississippi passed away on August 30, 2026 at the New Albany Health and Rehabilitation Center. Raymond was born to the late Mr. Raymond Gadd and Mrs. Lucille Sides Gadd on February 7, 1937 in Benton county. He was Baptist in faith and worked in maintenance for the Plough Corporation for several years. He was also a veteran of the United States Army. He had a love for deer hunting and was an avid outdoorsman.

 

Mr. Gadd is survived by his loving wife, Rosemary Goudy Gadd, 4 brothers: Wayne Gadd (Anita) of Hickory Flat, Jerry Gadd, of Hickory Flatt, Ronnie Joe Gadd of Nettleton, and David Gadd of Hickory Flat, 4 sisters: Johnnie Love (Bob) of Bethpage, TN, Brenda Mason (Thurman) of Hickory Flat, Sandra Ash of Potts Camp, and Pamela Price (John) of Hernando. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Daniel Rogers and Summer Cleveland. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Danny Ray Gadd, and 3 brothers: Aaron Gadd, Bobby Gadd, and Steven "Pete" Gadd. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Pallbearers will be: Phillip Gadd, Jason Gadd, Jonathan Gadd, Landon Gadd, Dalton Gadd, and Colton Gadd. 

 

Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM and last until service time. The funeral service will begin at 10 AM. All services will be held in the chapel of the Holly Springs Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 2nd, 2026. Burial will follow in the Flat Rock Cemetery in Hickory Flat.
