Linda Faye Byers, 78, of Waterford, Mississippi passed away on October 20, 2026 at her residence. Linda was born on September 7, 1948 in Memphis, Tennessee to the late Mr. James Glenn and Mrs. Almer Hall Glenn. In 1964 she married Melvin Byers (they remained married until he passed in 2021) and had 5 children together. She was a member of the Full Gospel Assembly church and her greatest enjoyment was spending time with as she called us “her babies”.
Mrs. Byers is survived by 2 sons, Terry Byers of Waterford and Daniel Byers of Virginia, 2 daughters, Penny Leopard and Jennifer Byers both of Waterford, a grandaughter and husband April and Matthew Gullett, and 2 great-grandchildren, Zoey and Wyatt Gullett. She was proceeded in death by her son Melvin Lee Byers and great-grandchild Anna Grace. She will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
A graveside service will be held on October 22, 2026 at Hillcrest Cemetery in Holly Springs, Mississippi at 11:00. |
