Linda Kay Cross of Byhalia, MS passed away August 2, 2026 at the age of 70. She was born on October 10, 1955 in Fort Hood Texas to Robert Caldwell and Bertha Walker. Linda loved teaching line dances, playing pool, spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her brother Rickey Caldwell (Judy), son Eddie Cross, Daughter April Cross Perry (Randy), grandchildren Lindsey Barkley (Damien), Holly Barkley, Jeffery Cross, Russell Cross (Shelby), Devon Cross, Adam Cross, Linda Cross (Cason), Ronnie Cross (Emma), Randy Cross, Jordan Cross (Ronnie & Laklin) , Jonah Cross, 9 Great-Grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews whom she loved.

She is proceeded in death by her parents, sisters Ann Marie Linley & Roberta Cheek, brother Freddie Caldwell, son Ronald ( Ronnie ) Cross, and grandson David Argus IV.

Pallbearers will be: Ronnie Glosson, Damien Perryman, Russell Cross, Ronnie Cross, Cason Veazey, Ira Stevens

Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until service time. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM. Services will be held in the chapel of the Holly Springs Funeral Home on Saturday, August 8th, 2026. Burial will follow in the Byhalia Cemetery where a graveside service will be held.
