In Loving Memory of Deborah Watson
Deborah Watson, age 70, of Hickory Flat, Mississippi, passed away peacefully on August 20, 2026, at her home, surrounded by the love of her family.
Deborah was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee, to the late Harrel and Norma Jean Armstrong. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend whose greatest joy was her family. She leaves behind a beautiful legacy of love, memories, and the many lives she touched throughout her 70 years.
Deborah is survived by her children: Dawn Jones, Robert C. Watson (Natalie), Lela Fowler (Terry), Barbara Mask, Frank Watson, Star Hill (Jimmy), and John Hughey.
Her grandchildren: Melody Jones, Savanna Jones, Gaven Watson, Triston Reddick, Hunter Mask, Gracelyn Watson, Dalton Fowler, Vivian Mask, Emma Jane, Alissa Mask, Allyson Watson, Dominic Watson, Frankie Watson, Piper Watson, Xavier Watson, Lindleigh Watson, Dean Watson, and Trinity Watson, Shelly Dudley, Carra Bing; and her great-grandchildren: Jackson Jones, Mason Goode, Easton Jones, Avaiah Porch, and Gwen Dudley.
Deborah is also survived by her siblings, Daisy Carpenter, Gary Armstrong, and Barbara Garcia (Albert), along with many extended family members and friends who loved her dearly.
Deborah will be reunited in Heaven with her parents, Harrel and Norma Jean Armstrong; her husband, Robert L. Watson; her brother, Harrel “Eddie”Armstrong Jr; and her beloved grandchildren, Jacob Fowler, Robert Lee Watson, and Luther Wade Watson.
Though her family grieves her passing, they find comfort in knowing that Deborah's love will continue to live on through her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all who were blessed to know her. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those she loved.

Rest peacefully, Mom. You will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 25th, 2026 from 5 until 8:00 PM. The funeral service will be on Wednesday, August 26th, 2026 at 12:00 PM. Services will be held in the chapel of the Holly Springs Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Forest Hill Memorial Park South on Holmes Rd in Memphis where a graveside service will be held.
