Donald Ray Smith 70, passed away August 23, 2018 at his home in Hickory Flat, MS. Donald was born February 26, 1948 to James Andrew Smith and Gladys Colston Smith in Memphis, TN. Donald was a Baptist and worked as a Long Haul Trucker. Donald was a U.S. Marine Veteran having served in Vietnam.
Services will be held Saturday, August 25, 2018 at 1:00 pm at the funeral home. There will be a visitation begining at 11:00 am until service. Burial will be at Hillcrest Cemetery, Holly Springs, MS.
Donald is survived by his wife Dian Smith of Hickory Flat, MS. His father, Drew Smith of Mt. Pleasent, MS, His son, Kevin Smith of Hickory Flat, MS. His daughter, Kimberly Oglesby of Hickory Flat, MS. Three brothers, Andy Smith of Mt. Pleasent, MS, Roy Smith of Horn Lake, MS and Billy Smith of Mt. Pleasent, MS. Three sisters, Jo Ann Bullard of Southaven, MS, Jan Taubken of Missouri and Pat Maroney of Mt. Pleasent, MS. Five grandchildren, Harley Lanham (Caleb), Hannah Rose Oglesby, Kristopher Smith, Riley Edmonds and Levi Smith. Two great grandchldren, Reese Lanham and London Lanham. |
