Jennifer Lea Bone

Jennifer Lea Bone, 73, of Waterford, passed away in Oxford on May 27, 2023.  She was born in Memphis on October 30, 1949, to Howard Williford Jones and Betty Jean Bates Jones.  Mrs Bone was retired from Bell South and had worked at the Marshall County Historical Museum for the past twenty years. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and an activist with CWA, during her time with Bell South. 

Mrs Bone is survived by her husband, William J Bone Jr, and two daughters, Amy Ross (Jay) of Lakeland, Tennessee, and Brooke Tubbs of Waterford.  She also leaves two grandchildren, Kaleigh and Shaun Wilbanks of Waterford, two brothers, Billy Jones (Joyce) and Joseph Jones (Darlene), a sister, Melissa Keough (Ken), several nephews and nieces, and her beloved dog Dixie.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

Graveside services for Mrs Bone will be held on Thursday morning, June 1, 2023, at 11:00 am, at Hill Crest Cemetery.  The Holly Springs Funeral Home has charge.

I am heartbroken to hear this. Jennifer and I grew up in Memphis Tn. We went to church at Richland Baptist Church and we grew up singing at church. I love Jennifer she has been my close friend. I will see you again my friend.
