Kathleen Evans Skelton, 73, passed away at her home in Holly Springs on December 2, 2022. She was born on December 5, 1949, in Mt Pleasant, Mississippi, to Fred Lee Edwards and Minnie May Smith Edwards. Mrs Skelton was a member of Carey Chapel Baptist Church and was retired from Carrier Corporation.
Mrs Skelton is survived by her husband, Glen Skelton, and two sons, Charles Harold Evans and James Evans. She also leaves a sister, Shirley Skelton, a brother, Kirby Edwards, eight grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Jerry Stacks.
Services for Mrs Skelton will be held on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at 2:00 pm, in the Chapel of the Holly Springs Funeral Home. A visitation for family and friends will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday evening, December 6, from 5:00 until 8:00 pm. Burial, following the service, will be at Carey Chapel Cemetery. |
