Lucy Nell Skelton, 85, of Ashland, Mississippi, passed away on November 5, 2021, at Ashland Health and Rehab. She was born on June 1, 1936, in Lamar, to Roy and Mae Gray Wilson. Mrs Skelton was a homemaker and a member of Rice Chapel United Methodist Church.
Mrs Skelton was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton Odell Skelton. She is survived by a son, Jimmy Skelton (Sabrina) of Holly Springs, and a daughter, Brenda Prince (Clay) of Lamar. She also leaves a brother, Buddy Wilson of Olive Branch, and two sisters, Louise Morgan of Lamar, and Ruby Hailey of Holly Springs, and grandchildren Kayla Skelton (Kyle Brock), Dustin Skelton, and Charlee Bryan (Casey), and great grandchildren Leland Brock and Brayleigh Brock.
Services for Mrs Skelton will be held on Tuesday, November 9, 2021, in the Chapel of the Holly Springs Funeral Home, with a visitation beginning at noon and lasting until service time. Burial will be at Rice Chapel Cemetery. |
