Norma Dale Conrad, 64, of Holly Springs, passed away unexpectedly at her home on May

23, 2023.  She was born in Holly Springs to the late Adron and Edgelle Conrad on November 18, 1958. Norma never met an animal she didn’t love, and took in numerous cats and dogs throughout her adult life.  For a time, Norma volunteered at the local Humane Society.   She also played piano at several local Baptist Churches over the years.  Norma never took any formal lessons, but she could make a piano sing.

She is survived by her son, Air Force Senior Airman Evan Deion Conrad of Vacaville,

California; brother, Harold Conrad (Lisa) of Louisville, Kentucky; and step-brother, Ted Weems

(Mary) of Byhalia, MS.  Norma also leaves behind many other family members and friends. 

Norma will be dearly missed.

A celebration of Norma’s life will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 10, at Friendship Baptist

Church, 9 Raven Roost Road, Holly Springs, MS.  Visitation with the family will be from 1:30

p.m. to 2 p.m. before the service.  Private burial of her cremains will follow in the Free Springs

Cemetery, 157 County Road 511, Como, MS.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be given in Norma’s name to your local Humane Society or animal rescue organization.
