Pauline Pittman Breedlove

On Friday, October 13, 2023, Pauline Pittman Breedlove, loving wife and mother of two, went to be with the Lord at the age of 81.

Pauline was born on March 22, 1942, in Walnut, Mississippi, to Vernon Albert Pittman and Mary Pegram Pittman.  Pauline's father passed away when she was only four months old , and she was raised by her maternal grandmother.

Pauline worked as a secretary and bank teller during her life, as well as a homemaker.  She also was involved in many activities of her local church, including driving a school bus to pick up local children for Vacation Bible School each year.

In December of 1995, Pauline and Charles retired and returned  home to Benton County to farm, where they fulfilled a lifelong dream of coming home and raising cattle.

Pauline was a faithful member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church, where she served in many areas, including taking on the heart of a true servant and leading the cleaning team.

Pauline was preceded in death by nine months by her husband of sixty four years and eight months, Charles Breedlove.  Make no mistake, the Love Story that is Pauline and Charles is "The Great American Love Story!"  Love at first sight and completely devoted to one another.

Pauline was the mother of two sons, Terry Charles Breedlove of Plano, Texas and Jerry Dean Breedlove of Cleveland, Mississippi.

Pauline was also preceded in death by two brothers, V A Pittman of Booneville and John Pittman of Walnut, and a sister, Martha Rutherford of Ripley, Mississippi, as well as both parents.

Pauline is survived by her two sons, daughter-in-law Laurie Wright Breedlove of Plano, Texas and Mindy Saunders Breedlove of Cleveland.  She also leaves granddaughters Olivia Rhett Breedlove of Plano, Elizabeth "Kate" Breedlove-Robinson of Monroe, Louisiana, Hailey Nichole "Nikki" Breedlove of Winnsboro, Louisiana, Virginia Claire Breedlove of Rayville, Louisiana, and great granddaughters Sophie Jeannette Robinson of Monroe, and twins Beatrice Lucy and Tallulah Parks Breedlove of San Ramo, California. She leaves sister-in-law Debbie Breedlove of Ashland, brother-in-law Mike Breedlove of Michigan City, and brother-in-law Jimmy Dale Breedlove of Jackson, Tennessee.

Finally, Pauline is survived by nieces Tammy Breedlove and Bell Wilburn, who she considered to be the daughters she never had, along with many other loved ones too numerous to list.

Pauline Breedlove, "A Faithful Life, Lived Well!"

Services for Pauline Breedlove will be held in the Chapel of the Holly Springs Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at 11:00 am.  A visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday evening, October, 16, from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
