Henry Sue Collums Clark

Sue was born to John Henry Collums and Eula Mae Pruitt in Bruce, Mississippi on August 3, 1940. She was the youngest of the family and the only girl, who was named after her father.

Sue married the love of her life on March 19, 1960, Billy Zane Clark, Sr., who she is now dancing with once again. Together Billy and Sue had six children: Billy Z Clark Jr (Rose), Debbie Heard (Kerry), Donna Lindsey, Teresa Windham (Robbie), Tammie Houston (Kevin), and Summer Clark. Sue has 15 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.

Sue lived a life serving others. She was a lifetime member of the Veteran’s of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary and the Firefighters Memorial Burn Association. Sue looked for opportunities to help those who served and protected us each day and took great pride and joy in doing so. She loved her family and enjoyed the large family events throughout the year.

Our mom, granny, aunt, and friend’s life did not come to an end with her death. Sue passed away on May 7, 2022, at the age of 81, surrounded by her children, family, and friends who will continue to honor her legacy of living, by living their lives to the fullest.

Sue’s celebration of life will be held at the Holly Springs Funeral Home, with visitation on May 10, 2022 from 3:00 until 8:00 pm .  Services will be held  on May 11, 2022,  beginning at 11:00 am.
