Annie Ruth West Wilson, age 84, passed away on April 1, 2024, at the home of her son and daughter in law, Gerry and Patti Wilson. She was born on September 30, 1939, in Hickory Flat, Mississippi, to the late Charles Vernon West and Velma Christine West of Hickory Flat. Ruth attended Hollywood School in Memphis, Tennessee, and worked for Bell South Telephone Company at a young age and Wilson Insulation.
Mrs Wilson was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Darrell Wilson and her sister, Glenda. She is survived by her brother Tim Bolt, her sons Gerry and wife Patti Wilson of Olive Branch, Greg WIlson of Horn Lake, and Scott Wilson of Olive Branch, and step daughter Sandy Thorne of Southaven, Mississippi. She also leaves many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and at least one great great grandchild, along with many cousins and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at the Holly Springs Funeral Home on Thursday, April 4, from 5:00 until 8:00 pm, and services on Friday, April 5 at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of the Holly Springs Funeral Home (1160 Hwy 311, Holly Springs, Mississippi 38635). |
