Jimmy Miller

It is with much sadness we must say that Jimmy Miller, 72 passed away on Friday January 22, 2021.  He passed peacefully in his home in Holly Springs surrounded by loved ones and holding the hand of his companion Peggy Patterson.

Jimmy was born December 25, 1948 to James William Miller and Marguerite Bennet Miller in Memphis, TN.

Jim took much pride in his many dedicated years of his sales career, of which he often spoke fondly of the many people he met and enjoyed working with. He was an avid golfer and cherished his daily golf games during his years of retirement at Kirkwood National Golf Club where he was a longtime member.

A memorial service will be held January 29, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Holly Springs Funeral Home.

Jimmy is survived by his significant other Peggy Patterson of Holly Springs, MS. Two sons, Corey Miller of Memphis, TN, Coty Miller of Memphis, TN. One daughter Kery Homonai (Jim May) of Byhalia, MS and 5 grandchildren. He also leaves an extended family of Erskine Mason (Staci) of Millington, TN and Kitty Vaupell of Olive Branch, MS and 5 more bonus grandkids.

He is already missed greatly as a huge hole has been left in our family.  We will think of you anytime golf is mentioned, always cheer on your Rebels, keep the grass mowed, and carry on the quest to find the most perfect chocolate pie.

I was a classmate with Jimmy at PHS. He was always a good guy and so good-looking! It was fun to re-connect with him at our last class reunion. I'm so sad to hear of his passing. Let his memory be a blessing and remember him with a smile.

Lots of special memories in these 72 years, from Mallory to Red Banks. Many years went by when we were all scattered about in these USAs but seems like we all got to be together here at the end of the road. God has been good to us along with all the heart ache and pain but Jimmy Miller you will be missed and our love goes with you on your new journey to Heaven. God bless you and God bless you (Peggy) for being such a loving partner. You are an angel to so many of us. Praying for you to get well soon.
