Richard H. Sims Jr
Richard H. Sims Jr, 75, of Holly Springs, Mississippi, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on June 9, 2025. He was born in Clarksdale, Mississippi, on May 3, 1950, to Richard H. Sims Sr and Doris Buie Sims. Mr Sims served his country faithfully in the United States Army, National Guard and was a retired engineer for BNSF. Mr Sims is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Loretta Sims, a daughter, Lacey Sims Clancy (Tyler) of Holly Springs, and two grandchildren Lucas and Leah Claire Clancy. He was preceded in death by his parents. A visitation for family and friends will be held in the Chapel of the Holly Springs Funeral Home on Friday, June 13, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00PM with a service to be held the following day on Saturday June 14, 2025 at 11:00 AM. Graveside services will follow at the Red Banks Cemetery.
