In Loving Memory of Patricia Ann (Rutledge) Siddall
November 6, 1948 – June 20, 2025
Patricia Ann Siddall, 76, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Caraway, Arkansas, to Verneda and Preston Rutledge, Patricia made her lifelong home in Cornersville, Mississippi, where she became a beloved member of the community.
Over 20 years, Patricia owned and operated PJ’s Country Store with her husband Jimmy, which became more than just a place of business—it was a welcoming space where customers were treated like family. Her warmth, humor, and generous heart made the store a cherished part of the town’s daily life.
Patricia shared 48 years of marriage with her late husband, Jimmy Siddall, and together they built a loving and faithful home. Her greatest joy came from her family. She is survived by her son, Derek Siddall, and her daughter, Shelly Taylor (Randy), both of Cornersville; seven grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren who were the light of her life. She also leaves behind her sister, Barbara Rutledge, and her brothers, Larry (Sandy), Donnie, and Mike Rutledge (Tonya), along with many beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy; her parents, Verneda and Preston Rutledge; and her brother, Jimmy Rutledge.
Patricia’s strength, faith, and unconditional love touched everyone who knew her. Her legacy lives on in the family she raised, the lives she impacted, and the community she served with heart and dedication. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Services for Patricia will be held in the Chapel of the Holly Springs Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at 1:00 pm. A visitation for family and friends will begin at 11:00 am, and continue until service time. A graveside service, following the ceremony, will be at the Cornersville Cemetery.
