Elec J Denham passed away on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at his home in Booneville, Mississippi. He was born on December 16, 1944, to Herman and Ethel Denham. Mr Denham was an active member of Little Creek Baptist Church, and worked for Benton County as a heavy machine operator for more than thirty five years. He loved gardening, whittling, and coon hunting, when he was able.
Mr Denham is survived by his wive of fifty nine and a half years, Betty, and two sons, Keith Denham of Booneville, and Rodney Denham (Jennifer) of Lamar, Mississippi. He also leaves three grandchildren, DJ Denham, Joseph Denham and Nicole Denham Mense, seven great grandchildren, two brothers, Willard Denham of Denmark, Mississippi, and Otis Denham of Salem, Alabama, and two sisters, Cinda Gurley and Floye Denham, both of Ashland. Mr Denham was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Ethel Denham, brothers Gus Denham and Billy Denham, and sisters Patricia Collard and Clara Denham.
Visitation will be at Little Creek Baptist Church in Booneville on Sunday, June 29, 2025 from 5:00 until 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of the Holly Springs Funeral Home, 1160 Highway 311, Holly Springs, Mississippi, on Monday, June 30, at 11:00 am. A visitation for family and friends will begin at 9:00 am and continue until service time. Graveside services and interment will be at Clear Creet Baptist Church Cemetery, in Lamar, Mississippi. |
