Corey Parker Haas

Corey Parker Haas (July 8, 1965 — March 5, 2026), was a life-long actor born in New York City to the late John David Haas & Rochelle Parker. Though he returned to NYC as a teenager (where he attended the High School of Performing Arts) his childhood was spent mostly in Woodstock, NY — and his young adulthood spent in Los Angeles, CA, where he enjoyed a successful career appearing in such movies as Friday the 13th: A New BeginningBiloxi Blues, and How I Got Into College. Corey has also appeared on every major television network — with leading roles on ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, & UPN, and supporting roles on PBS, BBC, HBO, MTV, & USA.

It was in Los Angeles, working on Liz: The Elizabeth Taylor Story, where Corey met his wife of over 30 years, Angela — and it was in her home of Memphis, TN, that Corey found the best place to call home, not to mention the best place to raise a family. It was here that he and his wife came to be members of Forest Hill Baptist Church.

Corey passed away peacefully at home, but he lives on in the cherished memories of his wife, Angela, and their son, Baker. He is survived as well by his brother, David Parker, his sisters, Noelle Parker and Carole Fisher, his aunt, Emily Parker, and Corey’s son, Charlie Valentin.

He will be laid to rest at the family graveyard in Lafayette County, Mississippi. In lieu of flowers, Corey would like any and all donations to be sent to The Declaration of Independence Center for the Study of American Freedom at Ole Miss: https://umfoundation.givingfuel.com/declaration-of-independence-center?&selectFund=Declaration%20of20Independence%20Center%5B06796%5D
