Donald Butch Hunter, 65 of Hickory Flat, MS., passed away peacefully at his home surrounded
by loved ones on April 2, 2026.
Donald was born on June 17, 1960 in Holly Springs, MS to Herman and Velma Hunter.
Donald was a Christian by faith and his occupation was in Industrial Maintenance.
Donald is survived by two daughters, Lana Goolsby of Hickory Flat, MS and Jessica Jordan
of New Albany, MS. and a sister, Lynn Lunsford of Hickory Flat. He also leaves five grandchildren, Parker, Anniston, Ainsley, Presley and Ayla and one great grandson, Jett.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Chuck Hunter.
Donald was a loving father and grandfather and will be greatly missed by family and friends.
Services will be held in the Chapel of the Holly Springs Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, April 6, 2026
from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. |
