Mary Lou Howard, 79, of Myrtle, Mississippi passed away on March 11, 2026 at her residence. Mary was born on June 14, 1946 to the late Mr. Henry Beckworth and Mrs. Minnie Sharp Beckworth in Cornersville, Mississippi. She was methodist in faith and was a dedicated homemaker.
Mrs. Howard is survived by her husband of 60 years, Mr. Bobby Joe Howard, 2 daughters, Teresa Hopper (Johnny) of Tiplersville and Deborah Thompson (Donald) of Ripley, as well as 4 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Jimmy Beckworth of Olive Branch. She is preceded in death by her parents and a great-grandaughter, Nicole Taylor. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be held from 12 until service time. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM. All services will be held in the chapel of the Holly Springs Funeral Home on Friday, March 13, 2026. She will be buried in the Amaziah Baptist Church Cemetery in Hickory Flat. |
