I thank God for Ross. I remember him as someone who was always looking to bless others. He was a great friend and colleague of my Dad with whom he would communicate fairly regularly, even in their later years. When Dad preceded him to heaven at the end of 2022, I began to communicate with Ross in Dad's stead, and we would pray for one another.

Some of my earliest memories were of Ross singing the traditional Christian mariachi song, "Al Agarrar las Manceras"... with Ross' excellent Spanish and amazing voice, you would never know he was a "gringo." He was definitely the best English-Spanish interpreter I've ever known.

Mexicans with whom he worked in Coahuila loved him and have told me how much they appreciated his message, his example, and all the supplies he would constantly bring them. He definitely left a Jesus-shaped footprint in the lives of many.

Yes, Ross reminded me of Puddleglum, a character in C.S. Lewis' The Chronicles of Narnia (The Silver Chair): pessimistic, but noble-hearted, hard-working, generous, and brave ...you couldn't help but love him. In a world where preachers with both faith and integrity are in short supply, Ross was the real deal.

Ross will be sorely missed. I look forward to seeing him and my own parents on Resurrection Day... it won't be long!

Love and prayers for Dora, Alyson, Jennifer and all your family.

Our deepest condolences to Dora, Jennifer, and all the family during this time of grief. I remember Ross not only as a committed man of God but also as one whose heart beat for the Mexican people, especially those across the Rio Grande from Del Rio in Ciudad Acuña. And the man could sing, too! Many blessings!
