Horace Dewey Berryman Jr, 81, of Byhalia, passed away at his home on June 22, 2025. He was born in Sheffield, Alabama, on June 7, 1944, to Horace Dewey Berryman and Elise Louise Vess Berryman. Mr Berryman was a Missionary to Mexico, and a member of Slayden Baptist Church.
Mr Berryman is survived by his wife, Dora Dodd Berryman, and two daughters, Alyson Redman (Geoff) of Harper, Texas, and Jennifer Brown (Doug) of Jackson, Wyoming. He also leaves a brother, Perry Berryman (Connie) of Byhalia, and three grandchildren, Joshua Day, Olivia Day and Sienna Brown. Mr Berryman was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Larry Berryman and a sister, Sara Traylor.
Services for Mr Berryman will be held in the Chapel of the Holly Springs Funeral Home on Thursday, June 26, at noon. A visitation for family and friends will begin at 11:00, and continue until service time. Burial, following the service, will be in Ashland Cemetery. |
