Howard Brown 71, passed away August 20, 2017 at Baptist Hospital , Memphis, TN. Howard was born February 21, 1946 to Virgil Brown and Uda Hogue Brown in Manilla, AR. Howard worked as a forklift operator. There will be A Celeration of Life held Friday, August 25, 2017 at 3:00 pm with a visitation starting at 2:00 pm until sevice. The Celbration of Life will be at the Crosspointe Church, in Olive Branch, MS. Howard is survived by his wife Mary Brown Holly Springs, MS. Three sons, Jerry Brown (Martha) Memphis, TN, Kevin Brown Holly Springs, MS, and Brock Brown (Jennifer) Olive Branch, TN. Two daughters, Yvonne Martin (Blake) Bartlett, TN, and Alica Cothern (Don) Holly Springs, MS. Three sisters, Frances Lute Finger, TN, Bettye Curtright Hornsby, TN,Sue Goff Clarksville, TN. fifteen grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

I would like to share something that I have personally found to be comforting. It is found in the Bible at John 5:28, 29 and Revelation 21:4. These verses tell us that soon God is going to bring about a resurrection of our dear loved ones as well as do away with all causes we have for suffering, including sickness and death. Knowing this has always comforted me and it is my hope that these thoughts will comfort your family also.
