Holly Springs Funeral Home

Ann Dulin Lauderdale

Ann Dulin Lauderdale went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 10th, following a brief but courageous battle with cancer.

Ann, or Nana as she was affectionately known, was the matriarch of her family. During the holidays, she was always there, bringing trays of the treats she knew everyone loved and enjoying the sweet traditions of family.

One of the greatest loves of Ann’s life was supporting her children. She spent countless hours at the ballpark, cheering for Alan as he thrived on the baseball field. She equally treasured every moment watching Alison dance - recitals, rehearsals, and all the days in between. Ann sacrificed nearly all of her free time to make sure her children could pursue what they loved. Her devotion to to them was deep, unwavering, and evident.

Her family will hold onto the small moments and memories. She was known for the little things that made her uniquely herself- the banana clip she wore in her hair for decades, the familiar purse of her mouth as she chewed her favorite ice, her love of peanut mm’s and her fierce love for the Memphis State Tigers and her refusal, even today, to call them anything else.

Her life wasn’t always simple or easy, but her love for her family never wavered. She showed up for every birthday, every holiday, and every little moment in between.

Ann is survived by her two children, Alan Lauderdale (Ashley) and Alison Schultz (Colby); her sister, Lynn Dulin Feathers (Ralph); her seven grandchildren - Hailey King (Will), Kaylin Durrett, Christa Schultz (Tyler), Brody Lauderdale, Briley Lauderdale, Weston Schultz, and Brynn Lauderdale, great grandson, Hagen, and two nieces, Nicci Bandermann and Brooke Campbell, as well as other extended family. Each of them carries forward the warmth, love, and memories she poured into their lives.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Al and Martha Ann Dulin of Memphis, Tennessee, whose love and values shaped the remarkable woman she became.

Ann will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered for her great love of her family.
