Donnie Kirkland "DK" Nickelson, 78, of Wateford, passed away at his home on March 12, 2023. He was born in Lyons, Georgia, on December 8, 1944, to Noel Jennings Nickelson and Larue Kirkland Nickelson. Mr Nickelson was a United States Army veteran and was retired from factory work.
Mr Nickelson is survived by two sons, Kelly Nickelson and Robin Johnson, both of Lyons, Georgia. He also leaves a sister, Laverne Nickelson Simmons of Georgia.
Graveside services for Mr Nickelson will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2023, at 10:00 am, at Hill Crest Cemetery. The Holly Springs Funeral Home has charge. |
