Darlene Ann McLain
Darlene Ann McLain, 69, of Byhalia, passed away at her home on November 28, 2025. She was born in Camcen, New Jersey, on July 7, 1956, to Theadore Bowman and Eleanor Fitch. Mrs McLain was a homemaker. Mrs McLain, the widow of James E McLain, is survived by two daughters, Jennifer M Bennett (Jason) of Byhalia, and Shelby Grace McLain, also of Byhalia. She also leaves a brother, Steve Bowman of Florida, and two sisters, Sandra Rynolds (Joe) of Florida and Lisa Camp of New Jersey, two grandchildren, MacKenzie Bateman and Braden Bennett, and five great grandchildren. Mrs McLain was preceded in death by a brother, Ted Bowman. Arrangements for services for Mrs McLain are incomplete at this time.

She was part of our families story for many many years. I spoke to her almost daily and will miss her, our conversations and friendship deeply. The life and marriage that she lived with James was beautiful, one can only be so lucky as to find a partnership like what they had. As heartbreaking as this is, I know they are both finally reunited and at peace.
